It started the summer after 2nd grade, with a week at camp learning to write the Basic and Logo programming languages. Long before coding for kids was a trend, I caught the bug and fell in love with tech and its potential. I've held onto that passion through various roles, leading to a career in knowledge tech. Some call it "knowledge management," others call it "information architecture," some even call it "training." No matter the name, I care not only about getting the right information to the right people at the right time, but also about identifying new meanings for what the "right" information, people and time are. Ultimately, the role of technology should be to serve people, and in my work, I focus on the human connection.
Because of my background as a trial attorney, I've found a niche in legal knowledge management and legal engineering. The legal industry is ripe for new ideas and new approaches to knowledge sharing and analysis, and it's been an exciting time to be a part of the next wave.
